What is the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission (IIPRC)?
The IIPRC enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of the way life insurance, annuities, disability income, and long-term care insurance products are reviewed and approved. The IIPRC leverages proven state insurance regulatory expertise in developing uniform product standards and a speed-to-market filing platform while continuing to ensure a high level of consumer protection. Insurers may make one central electronic filing under one set of national standards for one approval valid in all 32 Member jurisdictions today and growing.
